My Young Lady got Packet 3 today! YIPPEEEE!!!!!! But she really doesn't know about all the fields of all the forms, and I want to help her well when we can talk tomorrow.... This is concerning the Thailand Embassy. I have looked at their list of forms for a K-1 visa, and there are all these forms for a Non-Immigrant visa. Why? If she is coming here to the US, she is an immigrant, right? So about all I can say to her on the phone is "I'll check it out." So...All you kind people who have been at this point...what next? Do I just need to get the form IDs from her? Fill out the forms as if she will not be an immigrant? What to do?

Feb 16, 2006 Sent I-129F

May 22, 2006 Received NOA 3, Letter dated May 18! Papers SHOULD be in Bangkok "within a week"!

June 3, 2006 Jat Received Packet 3! But for some reason, they also sent her the I-134. Thanks folks, that's REAL convenient for me!

K-1 is technically non-immigrant visa. Fiance is not considered an immigrant until they marry petitioner and have AOS approved. That's all.

Immigrant visas mean GC upon arrival.
