How will I know I was touched (K1- VSC)?

How will I know I was touched?

I went to USCIS website and checked my status at their “check status on line”. Apparently, I have entered my case number. This is what I received from them:

“On Xxxxxxx xx, 2008, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E),

and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please

follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we

make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while

this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we

receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will

be done. This case is at our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the

link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail

updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.”

Guys, this has been what I keep seeing everytime I check my status on line and it's been more than 3 months now.

USCIS also said:

“You can choose to receive automatic case status updates, which will be

sent via email. Please click here to create an account online".

If I create an account, will I be able to trace if my application was touched?

Please enlighten me.

If you register they will send you an email whenever anything is done with your documents (touched, etc.) We're going on 5 months and still nothing. Well, not counting the NOA1. Jorge

create an account at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

this will allow you to log in and check for any updates.

Once you log in you track your case #
