Yes my huband is a truck driver and has been the entire time we have been married. I've gone with him a few times but don't really care for it myself. Now that he is on a dedicated run he is not gone as long so we manage better. Let me know if you have any questions or anything!

I'm a driver and my wife is still overseas, so she couldn't really offer any advice to you. I have a ton for him if he wants it. You can PM me for my email address or phone number if he is interested in talking to me.

Here is a link to a trucker forum. This is the family support board. You may want to post your question there.

Hi, i have been in the states for about 9 months and so far been driving with my husband on the road for 6 months now. HE work for Swift which is a big major trucking company. Im amazed at how big and beautiful this country is and im happy that i can be with my husband in his job instead of him being gone all the time and me alone. He always tell me theres nothing like getting paid to travel. I help him with whatever he needs like maps and food and that kinda thing just to make his job easier. I was excited at first and try to talk too much lol. I learned that driving big heavy truck take a lot of concentration and you have to let him concentrate so he dont wreck or get lost. But we have lots of time alone when he stops or when we stop at interesting place. Were just able to save a lot of money for now. I havnt got tired of it yet and loving being out here seeing everywhere with my husband. I wish you the same, Just dont argue cuz your in a small space and your husband cant do anything to loose his job. Good luck if your going to go cross country i think you love it becuz you have right attitude about it!

My hats off to your Husband. I wouldn't work for that company. They have a bad reputation as a company and the drivers out here give their drivers a really hard time. I feel sorry for them sometimes.

Werner's not bad I guess. Tell him to go back with them for a while then maybe he could come where I am, if he wanted to. We do entertainment. Here is a link to an article about a few of the companies. I'm with Janco.

I actually see the Country, not a bunch of loading docks. We go into the cities and the company doesn't care if we sightsee with the truck, minus the trailer.
