I like Ben, but if you both don't agree on it then it's time to move on to the next name.

there's no moving on. I don't agree with his names and he doesn't agree with mine. It's either he agrees with my choice or the baby won't have a name.

The compromise is that one picks the first name, the other the middle name. Unless of course, you both agree with all, which you don't.

This worked well when our baby was born.

I think it's a nice name.

I wanted to call my son Paul. The ex over-ruled me so he got called Zachary instead. I still kind of wish we had gone with Paul - there are about a million Zachary's out there now.

I do think most everybody gets picked on or teased for one thing or another. Each kid will handle it differently.
