I AM REALLY CONFUSE WHEN TO USE MY MARRIED NAME AND SIGNATURE....SEEMS LIKE I AM NOT USING IT AT ALL....:blink::unsure:

First of all when we go to SSA here...even if we showed our certified copy of our marriage certtificate, they still dont let me use my married name....(coz they said i have to go back there when i will have my green card)....so i just use my single name filling up the forms and after a week i recieved my SSCARD on my single name...

The second time around is when me and my hubby go to the physician yesterday to have my immunization completed...they still dont allow me to use my married name....so when i have to put my signature in form I-693 ,the signature i used was still my single name...(i used my last name when im still single as my signature)...

We will be filling up forms for this week for my AOS...and i dont know what to use for my signature on those forms i have to fill up...its really confusing to me...

Please help me....

Did u apply your SSN before your I94 expired? If you did, they should have allowed you to use your married name. After marriage, I started to sign every document in my married name and I just present my passport and Marriage certificate if they have questions.

Like Karin&Otto said, Use your married name and signature when you file for your AOS and EAD and AP. Good luck :)
