So tell the kids to pick their clothes up off the floor.

I get hot at night, so I put the blankets on the floor. In the middle of the night when I get cold, I put them back on the bed. My husband is always getting on my case for doing this because he's scared that a centipede is going to join us with the blankets.

I finally saw my first centipede last week. Yup - no more blankets on the floor. Those are nasty creatures. I hope they don't have black widows here cause that's just another thing to worry about.

Subject: UPDATE :Black Widow Spider

Population boom for the black widow this summer spells potential trouble for people during winter.

This spider, one of only a few poisonous spiders in the USA , can be found almost all over the United States. The spider releases a neurotoxin into the victim that, if not treated, can cause death! Their venom is reported to be much more potent than the venom of cobras and coral snakes!

The Black widow hooks-up with the male then sucks the very life out of him after mating! She's very easy to spot...

The female has a very wide backside, is Black, and has a red hour glass shaped marking on her belly....

You can find this spider in:

Closets

Wood piles

Under beds

and many other places you'd not suspect!

If you have centipedes, then it's unlikely you have that many spiders in your house. While centipedes are awful little creatures, they tend to hunt down and eat other bugs.
