Jawi, did your doctor tell you to use a neck roll in your pillow?

My physical therapist had me roll a towel and place it inside my pillowcase - that way, even if I turned in my sleep it was still under me - it really helped.

Never tasted it?!? I am not a huge fan of green beans either which is why I use french sliced green beans...smaller cut. Definitely changes things. It isn't hard to make...the recipe is on the back of most cream of mushroom soup cans. Like I said the key is the french slice beans, lots of pepper and lots of the fried onions  I make it even when it isn't Thanksgiving :innocent:

No...he didn't give me any tips on sleeping or what to use to help make me more comfortable. I'm going Wednesday, and I'm going to find out why he didn't give me any discharge/home care instructions besides taking the brace off, rotating my neck slowly and changing the dressing on the incision.

My family loves stuffing/ dressing too! Mostly my Dad and me....sometimes we fight over it! LOL! My Mom does a pretty good job of making it like my Grandma used to....celery, onions, parsley, bread crumbs & chunks all stuffed in the turkey cavity....it may be gross inside but once it cooks and all that turkey juice runs through the stuffing....oh lawd!! I think I gained 5 lbs just writing this!

Quana you have to try the green bean casserole....you'll have a whole new appreciation for green beans after that!

I hate green bean casserole puke.gif

I think you either love it or hate it! Of course, there isn't a whole lot of food I don't like or else I wouldn't be so fat! LOL!

I was hanging out at the park yesterday with friends and one girlfriend was surprised to learn that I cook. That shocked me! I said to her, "do you think I can look like this and NOT COOK???"

Are you bottom heavy because you do NOT look fat or big in your avatar. You have no weight in your face. I'm thick all over...I wish my face/shoulders/arms were smaller.
