lol.. who calls it stuffing and who calls it dressing.. We call it dressing...

I have come to find out that they are too VEEERRYYY different things. Stuffing is usually made from the bread crumbs/Stove Top stuffing variety. In the South, dressing is homemade from cornbread.

Yeah mon for real!!! .. I know its prepared very differently, tastes and looks different..but i thought either your family makes dressing or they make stuffing ..

Interesting.

For our family stuffing is of the stove top variety and dressing is the stuff that comes out of the turkey itself. So we have both and call them each their respective names...oh so complicated lol

sus.. ya hear bout di Catholic church where the priest denied communion and advised repentance for those voting in favor of Obama and his pro choice platform??

Loved to hear the convo your inlaws might bring up w/ that!!!

I wouldn't doubt if that was here in St. Louis. Our Archbishop is pretty outspoken. He denied Sheryl Crow communion for her beliefs and told some pretty high ranking government officials he wanted to excommunicate them.

I often think about being a teacher. That is what I wanted to be all growing up. My sibs have horror stories of playing school with me :P:lol:

me too.. i teach in the children's ministry at my church and I LOVE it.. I know I have the patience and the love for the craft, but wonder about the politics of it all.. you know when testing and school district budget and agenda get in the way of teaching. I guess there is always charter and private schools.. my daughters attend a GREAT charter school.

Wow he is outspoken. I heard about the thing Quana is talking about...it was in South Carolina.

A Catholic priest in Greenville, South Carolina, says parishioners who voted for President-elect Obama should not receive Holy Communion until they have done penance.

The Reverend Jay Scott Newman tells the Greenville News that church teaching does not allow him to refuse communion based on political choices but that he will continue to deliver his message, saying, "Voting for a pro-abortion politician when a plausible pro-life alternative exists constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil."

 O Yaads your sweet....Believe me you'll probably want to send her back. She's in that whole "terrible twos"stage so yeah she's not too fun right about now. She goes to a home daycare and I think the lady's kids have a bad influence because she says "shut up" and hits ppl. I just now got her out of throwing food at the dinner table. Pray for me yall lol  Edited by ShaNette

Honesty is the best policy but never use honesty as an excuse to be hurtful.

That is what I worry about as well and I have just heard so many horror stories about the politics and the logistics. Not to mention all the references to "babysitting" and horror children. I wonder how easy it would be to get a job in a charter or private school? Bet you have to have some public school experience under your belt to move up.

Mawnin Peeps....

Happy Monday! I'm just getting to work because I was late and then ran into an accident.

TL, love the pics. I would love to be in Florida right about now.

Yesterday, Ray went on the deck to clean his sneakers and when he went to get the rags out of the bucket he pulled up a big piece of ice with them. He was like honey, honey get the camera. He was amazed....

Thanks for hanging out JALOVE, and Manya.... You know Ray enjoys hanging out. I hope we all are still meeting up on Wednesday. I'm trying to figure out how to cook (Turkey, mac & cheese, greens, string beans, yams, potoato salad, deviled eggs, stuffing and pork) before heading to the club, I need some help.

And Rum cake.

Nice to see you Sunny!! Glad thinks frozen stuff is amazing - wait till the time it pisses him off cuz he forget to bring something in before it froze - lol.

 ...Well, does STUFFING count? Daddy makes that, but he has to add a little curry and jerk seasoning (just a little).

:no: Lawns... :bonk::rofl:

Is anyone near/close an Air Jamaica office?

I am y?

Opportunities are like sunrises - if you wait too long, you miss them.
