Hope everyone has a great week. I only have to work two days this week so I am trying to get some work done. Not really! LOL.

This is about the only time I like working where I do. They are closed as of Wednesday for this week and for Christmas they are closed from the 23 of December to the 5th of January!

that's sweet Dillon, my sister has that same kind of deal working for AT&T, I wish I was a teacher tho.. week off for Thanksgiving and 2 weeks for Xmas, spring break, summer break.......

I am taking the two days off before Christmas Eve so I will be off for 2 weeks. I don't think I have ever been off of work for so long before. I am excited.

i saw the story on notmrs.. hate to bring up old stuff, but I remember when I found VJ and my thoughts about their outcome were not good at all.. Everything happens for a reason tho and rocks in our way can be stepping stones if we let them..

Really, I was hoping that everything would work out for them. My husband's interview was the same day.

I have come to find out that they are too VEEERRYYY different things. Stuffing is usually made from the bread crumbs/Stove Top stuffing variety. In the South, dressing is homemade from cornbread.

Jan 30, 2010 ~~ Received EAD and AP via US Postal Service

May 07, 2010 ~~ Email notification that card production ordered for 1-485

Jun 01, 2010 ~~ Greencard finally arrives w/approval date 2/23/10 (Huh??)

OMG Yaads you are so right. When I first moved here and the snow hit I was so shocked that there were no snow-plowers going

Yes Lord, Winter has hit the Northwest!!!! But why am I still wearing open-toe shoes? Sorry I'm a die-hard fan of, stilletos, peep-toe pumps and flip-flops. People at work think I'm crazy. Yes, I am so excited. Can't wait to be in Jamaica

LMAO...please just tell me this one thing...do you wear socks with your sandals? :unsure: That has got to be the WORST PNW trend...ugh.

my gyal.. take a class somewhere aerobics and then photography maybe, go have brunch w/ my other teacher friends and other privelged non workers LOL, and of course TRAVEL!!! I could take advantage of these mnth long trips like some of u other lucky ladies..

HELL TO THE NAW!!!!! OMG, why do ppl do that? The whole Birkenstock and tube sock look does not work!!! No I will only be there until the 14th. I am just going to the interview and I'm out. I'm not taking the baby and my mother is watching her so you know how that goes.........

Trust me, I have done that!! I found that out when I was trying to shut off my Dad's cell - I was talking to the woman, and she asked me about the weather - told me it was hot there - I asked her where she was and she said JA - I immediately asked if they were hiring!

Well I would like to say that I am going somewhere warm and exciting...my daughter and I are going to Detroit to spend the holidays with my Aunts and my Mom will be coming from Vegas to join us in the fun.
