Thanks for all the thoughts from the other thread -

So, to give the condensed version of my full story, which some of you here already know - When I broke my engagement to my ex, and walked away from him, something else decided to take a walk  I was tired, run down, and surprise!!! Pregnant. My ex was useless and self centered, and totally not involved in my son's life. When he was 18 months, we were broadsided by a drunk driver and he was killed instantly - He was the light of my life and my joy - Yes, it was hard going through what I went through, but I truly believe that everything happens for a reason - My son was a wake up call to me to make some serious changes in my life, and now he's my angel.

Here are a few pics:

Hey Sus; so sorry to hear about your loss. Remember that God takes his angels to protect them from this cold cruel world. (((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))

Lawd JA embassy dem love fi tief

Check di fees:

Appointments

The Embassy of the United States of America in Kingston announces today (November 13), a package of improvements to the Consular Section's visa operations to better serve the traveling public and facilitate legitimate travel to the U.S. The improvements will go into effect next week as follows:

On Monday, November 17, National Commercial Bank will begin collecting the visa application fee of $131.00 USD at its dozens of branches island wide.

How much will it cost?

The cost for the Call Center option will be $13.00 USD to obtain visa information and schedule an appointment for a nonimmigrant visa interview. The fee covers an eight-minute conversation and would allow an applicant to reschedule the appointment twice, if necessary.

The 24-hour/seven days a week self-service website will cost $10.00 USD to obtain information and secure an on-line non-immigrant visa appointment.

DHL will deliver passports to applicants’ addresses for 750 Jamaican dollars. Only one fee will be charged per family of up to five members

Bumbo...so mi aggo pay fi mek di appointment - cho!

wow...part 10 already!!!...i have a question for ya'll if you guys can help...i also posted this on the waiver forum...my friend has been dating this guy for awhile and she is planning on marrying him...the problem is that he is here in the US but overstayed on his visitor's visa for over 2 years....he is from JA...they haven't married yet but planning to marry in Dec...I know if he was straight she would just have to file the i-130 and i-485 concurrently but since he is not up here straight will she still do the same thing or is there an extra step and on what part will this extra step hit...during the USCIS stage or Interview stage...any ideas...thanks... :star:

JGAY - I think they can file from here - he entered legally on a visitor's visa, and as long as they file from here and DO NOT leave the US before it is final, they should be okay -

Yeas, I agree with Sus. Although he is here illegally, he came thro POE legally. If he marries a USC the overstay will be forgiven

I'm so glad Ryan realized that I DON'T talk in the morning. My neice is the same way. I need time to wake up and gather my thoughts. Only thing is...he likes to talk to me while I'm sleep at night and get wonder why he gets weird responses.

The other day he said You were smiling when I gave you kisses when you were sleep. I said....you gave me kisses???? I had no idea. Please beware of what you do to me while sleeping..neva no wha u might get. :bonk::help:

LOL - DJ does this too - When we stayed in Port Royal, I fell dead asleep early one night - When I woke up, there was an empty Guiness on the nightstand - I asked him when he got it - he told me that I told him to just charge it to the room, I had left a running tab open  I just looked at him blankly - I did???? My roommate in college used to talk to me in my sleep all the time - She always said that I gave the best answers then - damn if I could remember the conversations!
