Ok, I give up then. What about Thanksgiving?

I'm doing all of the cooking except for the sweet potato pies which my mom does every year.

Tonight is "She and Me" movie night at the school - so I get to take my kids and sit on the school floor and watch Kung Fu Panada.

I have house cleaning to do. Since I don't have to work (yipee!) I think I will paint my son's room. I have trying to tackle that for some time now but couldn't muster up the energy to tackle making the mess. It's going to daymn cold here this weekend so I could stand staying in.

And I'm going to post disney pics for JG!!

I will be working......that's a really busy day at the Holiday Inn. :wacko: But then I will eat leftovers at my grandparents.

I love anything made with sweet potatos!! They are one of my favs.

Not sure ye. Not sure who's working and who's not at this point. Hoping to get all those details straight this weekend. My parent's are cooking. It's just a question on if we can get out there or not at this point.

I am not looking forward to Thanksgiving - We will be at my sister's house with her extremely annoying inlaws. So, I basically eat and run - thankfully, I am dog sitting for my cousin so I have an excuse to leave quick, lol

The night before I am going to NYC to see Machel Montano - Thanksgiving night I think we are shopping starting at midnight!

Honestly, Sunny, I don't think I will make it that long. Not feeling it at all anymore.

That's usually what happens once you make the decision to leave a job. Those last few weeks are always the worst!

I will be working alot through December. I found out the Holiday Inn has x-mas parties scheduled every Friday and Saturday for the whole month. But with that business you gotta take it when it comes. I will be thankful for the extra money with the way the economy is going right now.

***Disclaimer*** Ok..every daymn post I have made this morning has had a typo in it. Good thing I'm goofing off and not really working at work!!

im going to cook if i have enough energy, but since my kids have decided to abandon me and go out of town, i opted to pick up a 4 hour shift at the foster agency.. might as spend time with someones kids if not my own...LOL...but only from 230 till 630. One year i decided to cook cornish hens cause i didnt want to deal with a whole turkey but then when they came out the oven the looked so little and gross i didnt want to eat them...LOL.. but i love to cook so maybe i might even try to snag two of those roasted chickens from Sams club and then fix all the sides, im just not in a turkey kind of mood this year,

i will then probably rent some DVDs and watch movies on the couch in my new house all while trying not to be scared of the house sounds...LOL

OKAY, so im in my office that i share with my coworker by myself this morning, she doesnt come in until 11, so i get a little peace.. anyway i found this old school CD i had made, and since i love music it has everything from Frank sinatra ( just the way you look tonight) to george michael, to erykah badu.. i havent listened to it in at least 2 years, well anyway as im sitting here, now mind you i got it up at a decent level with my door closed, yall remember that song WHOOP THAT TRICK, from the movie hustle and flow,,,,LOL>> yeah well that just came on, :rofl: sometimes i have to laugh at my music selections... just thought it was funny
