I was thinking about you this weekend when I saw that on the news. Are you doing okay?

Yes, we are good - thanks for the thoughts. My area got more snow than ice so we didn't lose power but just south of us lost it big and had alot of damage. Something like 20,000 without power. Eeek!! We have a wood stove and I always get my 5 gallon jug of water ready just in case though...

I have not been to JA in December-January and I am wondering what to expect for weather? I mean should I actually pack jeans and a sweater (except for the need getting there)? I went over the summer and was fine, hot but not too hot, but my friend said that I should expect it to be very windy and cold especially at night.

what part of the island will you be?

I went a lot the past 2 years and last year in feb/march I wore a hooded sweatshirt everynight

Well its now confirmed....hubby booked his ticket for Dec 21st last night...paid $260 one way...his flight is for 6:15pm and he will reach NY at 9:55pm...:dance: .....he is kinda nervous with the whole flying thing...he keeps asking me to tell him step by step on what he has to do...like i have to tell him he has to walk to the airjamaica counter hand them your passport and blah blah.... ....and i know he is going to ask me like 10 more times....luckily he has a straight flight and he doesn't have to worry about transferring and stuff like that....the only form he has to fill out is the Customs form right...the I-94 form is just for non-immigrants right???....6 more days and counting.... :star:

jgay he definately needs to fill out the 1-94 because entering into the country doesn't guarantee you admission. i filled out my 1-94 a lady didn't fill hers out and they request her to do so. besides i just finish this process so take it from me. TELL YOUR HUBBY TO FILL OUT THE 1-94

I wondered if you were still going because your timeline is gone. You leave a few days before me..........how long will you get to stay? I am staying 2 weeks.

I had played with my sig and my timeline wouldn't work, I just have been too lazy to put it back, lol - I leave on the 26th for 12 days.

I have not been to JA in December-January and I am wondering what to expect for weather? I mean should I actually pack jeans and a sweater (except for the need getting there)? I went over the summer and was fine, hot but not too hot, but my friend said that I should expect it to be very windy and cold especially at night.

I was fine in tank tops and skirts in Jan - Except for Rebel Salute!

Oops, Morning all! I am working from home today, then have my holiday lunch at 12 pm - It is at a restaurant about 5 minutes from where I live = I refuse to drive an hour in traffic, work 3 hours, and come back!
