No, girl, it was the neighbor. He has 8 girls and he said he didn't know what they did, but when he searched their rooms it was under their mattress...for those of you from yard who remember when french cut panties were hot in Jamaica (early 90s)...I told the police they can keep them. They also stole some towels that were also on the line. I told his father that if they wanted something all they had to do was ask. The really sad thing is my mom was there a month before and gave them a lot of things, so you see how some people stay. UNGRATEFUL!

Hey CLaire I am a cna for hospice.

Sounds good. I want to work with hospice too. I applied this past summer but I did not have enough time to do the orientation. I am on a track now so I know the days I will be working and only one weekend per month now so I can schedule myself with them.

Who making fruitcake? (looking around)

When I was in Brooklyn over the TG holidays, Mike called me and asked me to buy fruits and Red Label wine. I asked him waht for and he says he is going to make fruit cake :whistle:

Morning everyone!!!

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Morning all. How is everyone doing today. It sure is quiet in here. Has anyone heard from Honeychild? I miss her. I thought she would have gotten over the little tiff she had with the thread and gotten back on. I wonder if she is ok. Anyway, I still not back to work, hopefully I will try and go back tomorrow. All my tests are negative, so whatever was going on in my abdomen has resolved on its own.

Today I am babysitting my friend's 4 yo twin boys while she goes to work a navy funeral as one of their officers.

It sure has been quiet in here lately. I guess everyone is busy doing their xmas shopping.

I hope everyone have a wonderful and productive day.

I was just wondering about her too. Honey we miss you. :crying:

Don't let me get my mom to come on here and start typing. Y'all don't remember those shinny suits when you walk the make so much damn noise...first of all how the hell do you wear those in 90plus degree weather! It's not the first time people steal from mommy, in the 80s someone took a walkman from off the varanda, one of the workers and give his woman and mommy see here walking down the road with it...you can cleary see my mom's intitial on the front of the walkman...mommy just tek it fram her and walk weh and tell ar fi go call police.
