awwww... i received an email from a guy i met on my JA trip. He is a co worker of my aunts and this was his first trip to JA. He meet a girl and he wants my help to book a flight to go see her again. It sounds so sweet. He said that she is too young for him and she calls a lot BUT he really likes her. :hehe:

i told him about ringyard.

it feels really nice to help someone like VJ has helped me!

I didn't know that the kids were children. HoooooooBoy. Not to get into a long drawn out rant, I will anyway, because I have been in the business for 24 years, and I have seen a lot. First, modelling is not a type of business where you can just "give it a try". It has to be a commitment. There are casting calls ALL the time. Clients do not generally book from looking at photographs alone. Which means that constant travel is involved (at your own expensse), just to have adults do a "go see" with the children, and sometimes criticize them right in front of their faces. Its a business, and people do not care that they are fragile children. The children can miss MANY MANY school days, and still never make a penny.

My bottom line is this.......By getting involved in child modelling, you are going to subject your children (in this case, your neices) to the scrutiny, judgement and criticism of strangers, based ONLY on THEIR LOOKS. It is truly a soul-killing experience for both the child and the parent.

I know that this is harsh.

Those girls are beautiful. I will call some shoot producer friends of mine in Jamaica and find out the way to go for kid's agency. But I really advocate letting them be gorgeous NORMAL girls and not getting involved in the business. Sorry to be such a drag.

Ryan and I went to dinner for the anniversary. He says "I feel like I'm dreaming". Awhhh my heart just melted. I always feel like I'm dreaming. Everything is going like I pictured it. He's the love of my life.

Ditto - on the tummy tuck

can i get a tuck too :whistle: (lets not tell Kashi)

I had one 6 months ago.....they took 8 pounds off!!! like havin a baby. Lovin it but soon realized give up one problem for another. I didn't realize it was my belly that was keepin my pants up....I wasnt blessed with an azz so I went from a size 18 pant to a 11-12 and have to wear a belt cause my pants keep falling off!!!! Cant go smaller cause u see the legs.......smaller pants mean smaller legs...don't work for me... still happy bout it wouldn't change a ting...but need to now work on defining my waist.

took a long time to send in ppwk due to husband's birth certificate delay :(

got birth certificate FINALLY!!!

didn't keep good records...sent in the ppwk and got a RFE for copy of passport

06-24-2010: NVC received the form I forgot to send ...oops

08-02-2010: still waiting on a case complete.....ughhhhh

08-10-2010: 2nd RFE for an updated police record-although the one we have was dated 4 months ago......ughhhhhhh

09-01-2010: NVC received checklist letter with a new police report..

09-23-2010: case complete FINALLY

11-12-2010: Interview-blue slip, need of a co-sponsor & petitioner at interview

12-07-2010: Petitioner interview w/co-sponsor paperwork
