Gill, there is not much he can do at this point, without the divorce, he can't file on his own behalf. He may be able to request another interview date. But, that may be pointless because the wife is not available for the interview.

He can check with Vital Records to see if the wife filed the divorce without him. Sadly, he should have handled his business instead of running off to NY. I bet the wife got the interview letter.

I'm so EXHAUSTED....why didn't ya'll tell me custody/childsupport/visitation was such a long drawn out process. I really feel like just saying the hell with it. I have six hearings next year. These won't be resolved until April 2009. Now, I see why some women don't bother...

The lawyer is not permitted to be in mediation with you. Now, I have to take "PARENTING CLASSES" since he's concerns about me being and unfit mother...I damn near fainted

I have been finding a few Jamaican spots here and there. Usually they are like Thai, or Vietnamese, or Laotions places that sell alot of JA foods....can you believe that my husband just pointed out that my mom has a soursop and guava tree in her back yard!? WTH!!?? I never knew. I was back there the other day and i saw the fruit on the ground and was like...hmmmm...this looks like some sort of custard fruit I seen in JA. He then told me what it was. Apparently the last owners were Filipino and Filipinos have lots of the same fruits as Jamaica.

Anyway...I have found a few shops around the city.

I think men who grow up with all women make the best mates! Not to exclude men who don't but men who do just have a sensitivity about them that makes them great partners. I think when they see firsthand how women go through things, they learn how to treat a woman. I'm probably biased though cause my honey has two sisters and he's so sweet!

I'm bored too Yaads! Boss is out today so I have a 'free' day although I COULD be making myself much more productive. Just glad I have ya'll to chat to!

Either they dont have much experience with knowing what a man is supposed to be or they were babied and taken care of too much by mama, granmma, sis, auntie, that they take that on to their personal relationships and that ####### can be quite annoying for their mate. I like a man who's had a good balance.

well yaads and ells, my brother is the exact opposite.. he is 10 yrs younger than me so WE spoiled him rotten.. we was still running his bath water when he was 7 or 8 yrs old i think...maybe older..

he is 19 now and EXPECTS the world to be his footstool.. i know it was our fault.. he was like our little doll.. i heard him talking to one of his likkle friend girls chat bout " my nucca" I was like WHAT.. how could u talk to a woman like that!! (how could she allow it too, but that is another story) I am praying for him to see the light.. he is a demanding and inconsiderate man, I feel sorry for the woman that gets him if he doesn't

OMG!! this is EXACTLY what i was talking about.....and this is usually the case that happens with men who were raised by too many women. This is soooo not good for the man. The guy really has no idea that he cant expect his mate to be like his mama and sis and grannie either.
