lol, I have to laugh, Anthony just got a text that DHL has his passport! Can you believe this after waiting all day, I even check right before I cancel the flight! I am trying to tell him there is a reason it didnt come in sooner, you never know what lies ahead!

So jgay the tracking works but it wont show up until they have the passport in their hands.

I stayed at the Rockhouse and it's lovely lovely, just lovely. When I'd tried to book through one of the online like expedia and they keep coming up with no availbility during the time I wanted to go. Then Jawi told me to search with Marzuca and they gave great rates and had plenty of openings. they told me that because they are local they can reserve spots or something like that. Anyways, just giving my only Negril experience.

Thanks. The only thing I like about Samsara (sp) is that you can choose if you want all inclusive or not. I could care less but thinking about my guest.

Hello VJ family.

Does anyone stayed at Samsara resort in Negril?

I have heard good things about the food and the hotel - bad things about the management and them being local friendly - People have had attitude when their friends stopped by for a drink or to see them - I don't mean overnight guests, etc... Just local friends coming to visit with them.

SJB -- I just stayed at Samsara last month. We did a little side trip to get a few days of alone time. I have to admit, I wasn't too impressed. It was just OK. We had a huge room -- it was clean, but could use a little TLC. We weren't in the rooms on stilts, so we had air conditioning and I do think some of our windows had screens on them (but I could be wrong. The furniture was a little old and I thought it was going to break at any moment. I wasn't impressed with the food, but I only ate breakfast there once and it was buffet style, most of the food was cold and a little bland to me. We ate out most of the time -- there are a ton of little local restaurants within walking distance, so I wouldn't recommend the all inclusive. It was the low season when I went and they were doing a lot of work on the grounds (they were hammering all day long for two days straight rebuilding one of the stilt rooms), so maybe during the high tourist season it will be a lot better. They had removed a lot of the lounge furniture at the pool area and the cliffs where you could lay out and the ones that they had out there had seen much better days.

Overall, it was OK. The price is great, but you do get what you pay for. I happen to like Rondel Village, but chose Samsara this time because I wanted to experience the cliffs.

Hope everyone had a good night. DHL was open today and my SO was able to pick up his visa. Thank God. Last night I slip and fell in the shower thank God for those handle bars or I would have probable busted my head open, but i am ok my back just a little sore.
