The only trip I ever was dressed up on - we went out to see Sanchez in Brooklyn and then straight to the airport, lol

It must be the military in me. I can never go dressed down to the airport. I just started wearing flat slip-on shoes, only because of the hassle of taking strappy heels/knee high boots off through security. My sister laughs at me because I have to take off so much and I have about 6 trays of stuff. I have gotten MUCH better though. I wait to put on jewelry and heels after I get through all the checkpoints. Most of the time, my heels are in my carry-on so I can put them on when I get to my final destination.

A looks at me coming with all my DVF luggage, heels, sunglasses, jewelry and just laughs because he knows that it is a hopeless cause. He always tries to get me to downsize and simplify my luggage. LOL

Sorry. Where are my manners? Good Morning everyone!

Good Morning Portland...

So today is the day you find out if Mr. Portland gets his passport back right? He will be traveling if so right? What time does his flight get in?

Hey Jawi, yes today maybe the day, still nothing on DHL website. His flight is at 6:30pm, gets in around 11pm, I am so glad I didn't listen to him a schedule a morning flight. He is going to go by the DHL office around 1pm and see. So I am just praying and hoping for the best!

Last night, my friend post some pictures of me from our Miami trip in 2006 on facebook. I looked a hot mess. I told to take them DOWN...!!!

LOL...don't you hate that? I hate taking pictures...so they have to sneak attack me most times.

I'm praying that it is there and ready. Worst case scenario, you can cancel/rebook right up to 6:30 PM...so don't feel you have to rebook right at 3PM...just in case they tell him to come back for it.

good morning everyone!

Nice pic lawny, you do look amazing for it to be 4am. I am with sus, I don't get dress up for the airport at all jeans or sweats and some slides. My mom always get deck out, one year we were coming back from Curacao and we had to switch plane in JA, well we were walking about to broad the plane right at the top of the steps and my mom heels got caught up in her rolled up pants and she fell down the steps, thank god it was only 4 stairs and she wasn't hurt. Now she dresses a little more sensible.

I'm usually in jeans or shorts, but we had a party to go to in Negril and I didn't feel like driving to Trelawny, changing and then head to Negril...those shoes I wore are so comfortable. I love heels, but I can't manage them.

Jawi, props to you in the heels...like mi seh, I think those suckers would break in half.

Lawny, you haven't found the right ones then - Some heels, I can't handle - but I have others that are more comfy than flats - Have you tried Crocs wedge heels?
