So I just called the 202# again this time I spoke to SUE, she said the visa was issued on 12/2/08. So my SO was suppose to move out of his apt yesterday and he didn't since we didnt know how long it would take. So, he is planning on coming tomorrow if he is able to get his passport in time. And give his brother his keys to move his stuff out. Tomorrow is going to be a MAD CRAZY day.

What's the cutest but silliest gift your SO has ever given you?

Here's mine:

Last trip he presented me with a bracelet and was OH SO PROUD of himself for it. He made me put it on everywhere we went for the first few days. It was a bracelet with round flat links that had Bob Marley & marijuana leaves on it. Every other link was a Bob & then a leaf & so on. Only problem is that I'm not a huge Bob fan (much respect though) anymore & not a total pot head....oh yeah, and that it turned my wrist green! But it was sooo sweet and he was so proud I wore it for him as long as I could stand it....once my green wrist started itching though, it had to come off!

Cute. Now, you have to make it a nice keychain.

I have a good one about a guy I dated shortly. He called me all excited about this belt he bought me. Kept saying how it was perfect for me. On and on he went. When I finally get it.....OMG...first of all, it was hard to not LOL. It's black with some silver lace all over it. The Buckle is a gigantic broach like my grandmother would wear...Gigantic silver flower.....and......are you ready???? Wait for it........................

The flower lights up....blue.....red....yellow......blue & yellow......red & blue.....all the colors flashing...depending on how you push the button. You ever see the one "Airplane" movie where Pricilla Presley has that lighted sign pointing towards her crouch? That's exactly what it reminded me of.

Rolling!!!! Reminds me of one of my drivers in Jamaica. He usually takes me to a party and watches out for me if I go out alone. Well, he asked if he could dance with me, and I said sure. So he is standing behind me in the dark by the sound system. All of a sudden my white pants start glowing eerily...they are reflecting light like crazy. Of course, I look around to find out why. His belt is a rolling marquee with lights all around it...the marquee has his name slowly rolling from right to left...then it would stop and BLINK the name several times before slowly scrolling again. I couldn't help myself. I started laughing so hard. He excused himself to the restroom, and came back with the belt buckle undone...hanging loosely at his waist...and OFF. We called it a night because his feelings were hurt.

Oh I do like Bob but it's just that I've heard sooo much that I'm tired of it. Sometimes I want to tell people that there is A LOT more reggae and Jamaican music than just Bob Marley! In parts of California (the more rural areas), that's the only reggae some people know. And I also DO like a little mary jane and in my younger days partook quite a bit more than now. Now, I can go weeks without touching it but then sometimes I'll partake every weekend.

I'm just trying not to be the typical Californian with the Bob and Mary stuff!
