Morning Ladies; let me see if I'm understanding this right before I call a family member.

For those of you who filed CR/1 or K3

CR/1 (immigrant visa); K-3 (non-immigrant)

With the K-3, the USC can get married in Jamaica then apply for his spouse, when she gets to the states she'll have to file AOS. Now, with the CR/1 no AOS is needed because that's already done and they should receive a greencard once they get to the states.

Does that sound right or did I miss something.

********************************************************************************

....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Morning all! I am trying Ells trick this am, lol

Personally, it bothers me when Jamaican men (or any culture) says they say away from their own women. I've heard guys say the same thing to me...Jamaican women ain't ish and he loves American women. But I asked him why I am better than my sister...he walked away. Of course, he is entitled to his preference but still....

That bothers me from anyone - man or woman - Everyone is entitled to their preference, but I can't stand people who talk down about men / women of their own race - They have mothers, fathers,..... do they hate them too? I date who I am interested in regardless of color, nationality, etc... just so happens I fell in love with a Jamaican - the last guy I dated before DJ was Indian - before him I was juggling an Italian, an Irishman, a Scot, and a Guyanese

On another Ja. BB a woman post about her escapades with her SO and his picture...an anyonomous woman went and found that man...and you guessed it...seduced and slept with him just based on spite and juicy conversation from the internet.

While I agree that is totally f***ed up - in a way, that woman did her a favor - because any SO of mine that is gonna sleep with another woman is no longer my SO.

Roolllinnn! can I tell you that I thought you typed #######? I kept trying to figure out what you were saying....LAWD...let me go to my bed...I'm tired and hurting. Thanks for the laugh.

Me too!

You have it right, Lawny - if you have been married under two years by the time it is issued you get a conditional GC - over 2 years and it's a permanent one.

So, I went to see a Clairevoyant / Medium last night - she is unbelievable, and I am still blown away - I believe in that to a point, and definitely think there is something to it - She was going around the room, talking to different people - then she pointed at me and said that she was coming to me - and immediately started crying so bad she couldn't speak - Then she choked out and asked if I would recognize a father figure in spirit, to which I said yes - then said his passing was fairly recent - Then she came out with my full first and middle name - Which my father always called me by, he was the only one - I am still blown away and have chills, it was so unbelievable.

JALOVE, I'm glad you guy's made it to Texas safe. Wow, what a long ride. I'm upset that I didn't get to see Sanaa before you guy's left, but I'll have to get over it.

Well, we are ready to do it now but some of my friends want to be there and so we may "MAY" push the date back until New Years Eve.

Everyone should think about the fact that this board is not a safe heaven nor a nothing gets out bubble..u gotta be careful of what u say cause things can and will get around...ur SO may possibly hear, read this stuff on here..It's nice to vent but this is still the internet

I agree Kimmy. Your SO may have family/friends that are internet saavy, or recognizes their face and they report back everything that is discussed. My question is...how would you feel knowing your SO mother became privy to your post about your SO bowcatting or eating under the 3 inch table for a greencard? How would your SO feel knowing that you post about his size, stamina, and ability to please you in the bedroom? Jamaican men are very proud but also very private about bedroom affairs. It is okay to joke about us suffering from lackasex, needing pum pum coolers etc...but let's not post such intimate details about the men we love.

On another Ja. BB a woman post about her escapades with her SO and his picture...an anyonomous woman went and found that man...and you guessed it...seduced and slept with him just based on spite and juicy conversation from the internet.

OMG, Jawi. That last statement is just awful.

I join that thought!! We have some kind of freezing rain/sleet stuff going on right now.

And I feel like someone punched me in the jaw last night. I apparently slept on my face wrong somehow!
