Hey Jakeswife, I am back in the states today. I am missing my Jamaican family and friends. I had a wonderful time with my crazy husband, will be missing him terribly. Missing the the nice weather, here in my state it is COLD now. Came home to a cold house last night, too tired to care, then I went into the office today to read my 1000 work e-mails, along with my many new assignments for the new year.

welcome home, Rox!

Ells...does it make u feel bad for taken a man from the US? a man is a man where ever he comes from. Just happens ur in love with one from JA...

Wow, good point Kimmy! I never thought of it that way. Tell you the truth though, many years ago I might have been a little perturbed seeing all these 'American' men dating or marrying foreign women but my views have changed over time and have expanded a lot. Now, I don't care who men here date so I guess it goes both ways. Sometimes I wonder (and I bet most of us have at some point) why I had to go and fall in love with a guy so far away and from such a different place than the U.S. But God sends the people you ask for into your life and I had to go and ask for someone to love me darn it! LOL!

I agree Kimmy. Your SO may have family/friends that are internet saavy, or recognizes their face and they report back everything that is discussed. My question is...how would you feel knowing your SO mother became privy to your post about your SO bowcatting or eating under the 3 inch table for a greencard? How would your SO feel knowing that you post about his size, stamina, and ability to please you in the bedroom? Jamaican men are very proud but also very private about bedroom affairs. It is okay to joke about us suffering from lackasex, needing pum pum coolers etc...but let's not post such intimate details about the men we love.

On another Ja. BB a woman post about her escapades with her SO and his picture...an anyonomous woman went and found that man...and you guessed it...seduced and slept with him just based on spite and juicy conversation from the internet.

Goodnight Lovesponge! Enjoy your evening & see ya tomorrow!

Kimmy, no offense taken...I know you just speak your mind and I admire that.

Another :ot:

I just ate a fortune cookie.....there's a funny rule I once heard and abide by when it comes to fortunes now. Next time you read the fortune, at the very end, add two words: "in bed". Then read it all together like that....always makes for a good laugh!

Its true that not everyone is cut out for certain careers. When I was young I always wanted to be a pediatrician (my reason was because I love kids) My first year of college I shadowed a doctor at the local hospital. They were doing a routine procedure with the patient and as I watched the nurse start drawing blood I ran for the nearest bathroom.

I'm a teacher now :star:

What was your dream career as a child or even in high school/college? Is it what you do now?

My dream career was to be a mother of 8 boys  . I am doing what I love between my Nursing Home Job and working with eight MDs(big Babies) during the week I get a varity of people. I love sitting down talking to the elderly and hearing how it use to be. I love caring for people I have cancer pts and people with all kinds of issues like MS and Lupus. Like Clair I love my job, I can honestly say it is rewarding and yes u do have those that hit that last nerve because they feel like u never do enough for them. Then u get a three year old that loves u because u are her Nurse and even though u have to give them shots they know it's because u care. I believe God put me where he needed me.

I am a LPN with 20 years of experiece and love!!!!!!! I want to go back to school also to get my RN and be just like Clair. I find excuse after excuse but this is the year of CHANGE!!!!!
