Hey Claire! I forgot to respond to your post the other day about the Golden Krust here. I can tell you that I liked the food that I had. (I had the small oxtails plate w/ rice and peas, side of plantains, veggies, and festival) To me, the prices were no more expensive than the Doctor's Cove restaurant that we have here in Durham (which has good food too by the way!) I wanted to get some bulla, but the girl who was working told me that some lady had come in and bought up ALL the bulla cakes! CHO! Mi waan vex wid har cuz she nah lef none fi nobody else! It was pretty quiet in there when I went, although there was this large Jamaican/American family in there---it was funny cause they were taking pictures with the manager and workers! I didn't get a chance to try the patties, so that'll have to be on my to-do list next week!

Thanks for the info Lawny! I'm not too good at making noise but maybe if I e-mail the heck out of them they'll respond. It's always worth a shot. I'm not going to be surprised if things don't work out (time-wise) how I hope but I'm really hoping that with my planned July trip, we can have the interview. In my perfect world, we'd have the interview scheduled for the time when I'll first be arriving so there's plenty of time for them to deliver the visa, we'd PASS of course, we'd go to Sumfest, then we'd pick up his visa and THEN, he'd fly home with me! In a perfect world....

I feel everyone is entitled to their opinion. But can we move on. Everyone here has the same intention “to love a man" it doesn't matter if he's JA or American. If a new person came to this thread and read the comments made yesterday and today they would probably leave laughing and disgusted. We are here to support and maybe sometimes that support is hard but do it discretely. If past comments were an issue, if it wasn't commented on when it was made, let it go!
