shanette what about you when was your case completed?. i feel that you guys are going to be the lucky ones because we got caught up in the backlog and it seem they are getting a lot more done now. i don't think you will have to wait as long as we do to get the process through nvc or to get an interview date.

as soon as we get the visa god willing i will be getting ready to leave the next day. all things considered we will be in kingston till the friday or return to mobay on thursday.

Do you get any choice of your initial interview date or is it just given to you and you have to take whatever they give?

Thanks. Usually get what is given, but Lawny was able to request her date - she just picked one that was a couples months out as she was going to be there at that time for a wedding and they gave her that.

My fiance and I had an incident with one of the guards when we went to drop off his DS-230 and I took out my US passport and started making noise, so a lady came out to speak to me and she asked me what happened I told her and after she calmed me down she asked why we were there. I asked her how soon after dropping off the DS-230 can an interview be scheduled and she said it depends on how busy they are and I said I wonder if it's possible to get a late June date. She told me to send an e-mail and that the worse they could do is say no. I sent an e-mail with requesting the last week in June, I didn't give a specific date, since I was going to be in Jamaica for 2.5 weeks for my aunt's wedding and to my surprise it granted. It was 2 months out, but I didn't care. I thank God! We've been blessed throughout the process.

ok i just finished catching up and i found nothing about jgay's hubby interview. am i missing something. i was at the hairdresser today and i told my husband to go on vj and check if jgay came back with any update. well he told me he read something about jgays hubby being approved. i was so excited i came home drop my belongings and went straight to the computer. well.... can someone enlighten me.

Me too and I drive by the gym on my way ome from work

LOL! I guess I'm not the only 'bad' one....I quit the gym a year to the day because I just wasn't using it. 30 days before my membership was up, I was in the gym (after having not been for MONTHS) signing the termination paper!

Guess I'm bad too....my hubby is a body builder and goes to the gym EVERYDAY. Not me

I love Weight Watchers but never stay committed. I may try the flex plan.

The flex Plan is the new name for the point system and now they have the Core plan that u eat certain foods untill u are comfortably full .
