Yes, I'm trying to get the courage to ask my manager if I can have that day off. It's my husband's birthday too.

It's going to be a MAD house in this city. Have you heard that the bars and clubs can stay open for 24 hours during that week? The city is trying to make some $$$$.

Are a lot of people at your job taking it off? Do you have personal/vacation time that you can take off without notice? Maybe, that would be an option. One of my ex-boyfriend's b'day was on 1/20. He was a real sweetheart. I was young and he had tooooooooooo much baby mama drama. Anyway, I digress...must be the pain meds. LOL

I was thinking about this same thing the other day. I'm good about cleaning out my closet yearly and giving stuff to the mission, but it hit me the other day that I should clean out my belts cuz Lord knows I'm not wearing most of them anymore!!

This is a good list, some are pretty dated, but still a good list. I will try to compose a list soon. I'm not up to it just yet with my neck and the pain meds. Sorry guys. I agree Elephant Man has been in top form as of late with his latest dance tunes. He is definitely the Energy God of Dancehall.

I know some are dated - I was digging back - I have issues with Elephant Man, lol - I think his new stuff is good - but I have a hard time reconciling his music with the crazy stupid stuff he used to do in the Scare Dem Crew days when he was abusive to women on stage and acted like a fool -

Sus, Elephant man is digusting and if you don't respond to any of his advances he disses you while you in the audience or have one of his gorillas go after you. I'm sure you know what goes on backstage after the show and the after parties. So many of my friends got caught up. Not sure if you know Kip Rich (he's another one). I was at a dance in Florida and he brought this lady up on stage she had to have been around 350lbs or more (no JOKE) and he lifted her up, well, she fell on top of him and that was it. I think he broke some of his fingers in his right hand. At another dance he had the woman them grabbing his hood while he was performing. He also likes to dive off the stage.

I dont know if the belt is still in style, but i paid a couple bucks for it and once i got fluffier i was damned i wasnt throwing it away so periodically i will pull it out my dresser and try it on to see if i can get it around my waist. Today, i needed a belt with my jeans cause they are getting a little loose and it matched my shirt. Well since my shirt is orange and the belt is orange with all these designs in it, i figured why not??? lets give it whirl, LO and BEHOLD it actually fit and i could put it in the belt notches and still breath!!!

On the downside, once i closed it, it kind of hitched my pants up a bit, so they arent so loose and now im getting a wedgie, but i feel this wedgie is worth it....LOL

I wore some wide leg cuffed pants to work today. I just went outside for a quick second and FELL!! My high heel was caught in the cuff. My knees, hips, and hands are stinging now from the fall.

Ouch Wakey!! I can top you and return the favor though - I had on wide leg pants one day that have an elastic waist - I rolled my chair back from my desk and stood up - I had caught the leg of my pants under the wheel and pulled them right down to my ankles!

OMG! What mi fe do for Christmas.

I just found out a credit card I'd paid in full at the beginning of the year and was saving for Christmas shopping has been closed by the lender!!! They told me that I hadn’t used it in a long time so they closed it and then they said that because I’m over extended with other cards they won’t reopen my account.

When it rains, it pours. I know with each trial and tribulation there is a lesson for me to learn. I’m praying for this lesson to end soon. So far, I’ve learned patience, increased faith, trust in the Lord, and to listen to my inner voice and take action as it tells me.

I went to school with someone that had a baby with Kip Rich (she's much older than him) and her sister has a baby with Elephant Man (need I say more).

1luv; he sent the gorillas after me one night (and yes) I got cussed out big time on the mic...mind you, all I said was I don't think so, next thing I was dutty gyal dis and who mi tink mi is... my friends were letting it hype them up, I was just kept my mouth shut...after all I really there to see "Rodney Price" and DJs from the late 80s to early 90s.
