okay ladies...How do u feel with ur SO talking to a female friend?

I have no problem with it if you respect me with it - Honesty is key - If you introduce me to your female friends, etc... then I have no issue with it -

Amen on the agruments..none needed.

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

I don't particulary care for it. I think there is always attraction between male/female friends that was never acted on. I have to know the situation of how they became friends and some of the history and then try to base my thoughts based on those facts.

Really JG...I missed the debate on this subject..what thread was in so I can find it for my reading pleasure..

I disagree with that - I have a ton of male friends and always have - there definitely was never ever an attraction with them on either part, we just have always been friends -

couldn't agree more Sol...my husband is very laid back nothing really bothers him..but I know what kind of respect I want so I give it..The one person I swore I would never give up our relationship is my EX when I was like 16...and he's Kimora's Godfather :) he is truely my very best friend.and i told hubby of him from day 1 before marriage everything...NOW Kimora's Godfather has kept his distance b/c of the respect issue...that was his choice..that's when I knew he still had feelings for me

He was my first and only. SO has told me about his. No insecurities. I just say...boy you got a good deal with me. :innocent:

I did and I regret it. Dont tell him everything. :innocent:

the less i know the better ; all i want to know is are you negative or take daily meds for the rest of you life. how many kids? any baby momma drama? and did you inform your hater that i was crazy and that i lived in whipahoe Iowa and if they piss me off , I'm willing to move back . :rofl:

I agree, Sus. And, even if there has been something between us in the past, I still care enough about these guys to want to be some of their friends.

I think when you get married some friendships need to decrease dramatically. I understand that you are friends but long azz conversations on the phone constantly is distasteful in my opinion. I am the type of person who likes to keep down drama. I know how to keep my male friends in check and I expect him to do the same with his female friends.

This really bus me as well :angry:

IT'S ONE THING TO talk to ur ex/male friend but if ur SO knows nothing of the conversation then???

I don't mind female friends at all...what I mind is when the man/woman have different intentions..thinking they still have a chance...I have an EX that kicks himself verytime we talk and sometimes i have to tell him like yo..u forgot I'm married..like seriously..we kool but i'll put u in ur place..I have to deal with the baby mother so I think I have my share :)..but mi couldn't care less until he gives me something to care about
