Honey...I am late catching up, but I just read where your home was broken in to...wth? I can only imagine the feeling of being violated in such a personal way. I had to deal with the thugs from SE DC trying to steal my car a few years ago....they broke the handle on the door (kids that didn't know what they were doing thank god), but I just remember the feeling of going out to the car the next morning to go to work, and then immediately looking and saying "something isn't right." When I realized what it was, I was so pissed, but also scared, and nervous...For the next couple of months I was always checking on my car in the evenings...it was ridiculous! Do you (or the police) have an idea of who may have done this to you?

my sister and I walked up on a little punk trying to steal my car. We were house hunting, decided to get something to eat and parked my car in the cul-de-sac of the last neighborhood. The neighborhood was just a couple of blocks up from my own subdivision. Probably not the smartest decision in hindsight.

We came up and the overhead light turned off in my car. I said "Hmmm. I don't remember leaving the light on in my car. Wait. Wakey. There is somebody sitting in my CAR!" So she pulls the Jeep up to the car, and said "Boy! Whatchu doing in my sister's car?!!!!!" My brilliant quick wit came up with "YEAH!!!"

LOL...I was scared to death. The little punk pulled his jacket over the lower half of his face, jumped out of the car and ran with all his might. The cops found it rather funny, and didn't think I needed to file a report.

Hi yardies... whagwaan? Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. It was so hard to get back into the swing of things this morning to go to work. I just got back from nearly two weeks in JA and I miss it so.

Trying to get caught up so bear with me...what did I miss? Any interviews, arrivals, pregnancies, etc.?!

Honey, sorry to hear about the break-in to your new place. I pray that things work out and that you and the boys don't ever have to go through that again. I hate this time of year because there seems to be so much going on with theft and break-ins. I hate to see people preying on others.

portland is this the first time your hubby is getting a visa? if so that's one of the reason they are doing the check. it's all procedural it will be fine. i know person who have visas gets theirs done quicker because they are already in the system.
