Portland, how did the last day of work go?

Sus, it went alright, I guess it hasn't hit me yet cause I still don't feel anyway about it. Now, that they extended unemployment I guess I will be good. Maybe Monday morning I will feel some type of way. But to be honest I never like the job, when my Grandmother died my hr rep told me I could get 3 days off if my manager approves it, she only approved me for one day! Even after i told her it was my grandmother that raised me I had to fly to Jamaica, she was like when is the funeral I told her saturday, she is like I am giving you friday off and I dont see way you cant come back Sunday. Mind you she works four days a week, on vacation every other month. So I won't miss the job just the pay and some of the ppl.

It definitely sounds like it will work out to be a good thing - I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and you need to clear out some stuff to make room for bigger and better things in your life.

It amazes me when people are that insensitive - One of my friends who is a catering manager at our company (her employer is a contracted company working for us) just went through that - Her brother committed suicide, and they told her she had to use vacation time, of which they only get a week - #######? She came to talk to me hysterical - I called our contact who manages the vendor, and our medical doctor, and went off - mysteriously, they managed to pay her bereavement.

HEy 1LUV, wha gwaan with you this morning?

I am up and in a daze...LOL... i want to go to 7 11 to get some coffee but cant seem to move off the couch, i need to start cooking but dont feell like it...LOL... my hair is still a bush, and i need to do it, wash it, the whole 9, but i dont feel like foooling with that either, so here i am.

i have to work from 230 to 630 so i know i dont have long, before i have to get it together.

1luv how you gonna disappear on me....LOL

Ok, i guess i will go get that coffee after all, maybe when i reach back you will have resurfaced.

OH SORRY, HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE TODAY!!!

Yeah, she told me my grandmother wasn't immediate family! I had to walk out the office that day, or else security was going to carry me out! She might as well had slap me in the face when she said that!

But yeah, I definatly believe bigger and better things will come.

Hey ladies, im still sitting in the same spot and still havent gotten my butt off the couch to go get coffee and of course you all know i forgot some things at the grocery store, aluminum foil, every flippin year and some cool whip!!!!shoot at the rate im going no one is gonna be eating shyt cause i just dont feel like cooking!!!!

lord im sitting here looking a mess, i have on a pink sweat jacket with my pajamas underneath, some brown sweat pants, some brown ugg boots and my bush tucked under a hat, i havent had a day off to myself in so long, i dont know how to act, yall..LOL well a portion of a day off i guess you could say...

ok island you have motivated me, maybe once i get coffee i will be ok.
