Roxcie....turn off your phone! That's what I do now that I learned the same thing. Had $80 in phone charges (on top of regular bill) after the first trip where I left my phone on. Never answered it but every time someone called it charged $2 just to 'connect to the tower'. NEVER AGAIN! I shut it off and give people my JA phone #!

How come we always have to talk about food? This is not helpful for those of us in the diet mindset!

Okay, so for those of us on the diet mindset - I made soup last night that I am eating right now - I boiled chicken in fat free chicken broth, added green pepper, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, pepper, and a can of callalloo - So yummy!

Let's see, how would Lawny say it - tap show off Sus!! I just stopped at the sweets store on the way back from the bank and bought a hunk of maple fudge..... I'm going to be zinging around the office soon.

Jgay - they changed the rules last week (or week before) when the started the new appointment system. They don't use airpak anymore - just DHL, no Paymaster anymore, just National Commerical Bank.

oh ok...didn't know that...so he only could pick it up in Kingston or Mobay...that stinks...I guess I just have to tell him to stay by his sister since she lives in Portmore and just pick it up in Kingston...so is the 3-5 business day a guarantee???

I think we have yet to see the results of that! Portland is the first I know of since they started the new system.

Okay, all of my friends and family memebrs are calling me to wish me happy B-day, but no one will want to pay my cell phone bill when I get back home. Every call I accept comes with a roaming charge. Plus they want to talk, I keep telling them to yahoo chat, that's why I am on line. Nooooo, everyone wants to make a phone call.

Rox - I always let it go to my voicemail and then call them back on the JA phone with international credit on it. I learned the first time after I had over $100 in roaming charges that even incoming calls cost you!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families and loved ones. My sis called LAST NITE to tell me that she, boyfriend, and son will be over tomorrow. I only bought 4 cornish hens because I wasn't gonna cook big. Hubby came home with a huge turkey so I gotta get to work tonight. I'm gonna have them bring dessert.

Kimmy, what nut put a child on the phone long distance. No one but my ex, and Brycie is chatting up a storm, I don't understand a word she was saying, but I just said ah ah ah... love u, That probably cost me 20.00, well I'm feeling better now. Kimmy, it's not even just watching it ring, if it goes into the phone mail, I still get charge for roaming charges.

Jakeswife, the advice on the beautician was right on the money. She did an excellent job too, I was very happy with what she did. I will go back and have the beautician to re-do my hair before I leave next week.
