Jawi - what kind of car do you have? I have a bluetooth and have no ideal how to use it. I thought it was for the phone :wacko:

I didn't know bluetooth was for anything besides phones either :blush:

You have to buy a bluetooth adaptor like This one

I have a Belkin Ipod adaptor that plugs into the cigarette lighter and plays my Ipod through the stereo - Love it!

There's a bluetooth thingy built in my steering wheel :unsure:

My car has the IPOD hookup....just needed a cable from the socket to my IPOD.

I can do that as well...but I hate that cord...not to mention it shorts out after some usage and the cord bending. If my BIL is in the backseat...I hand him my IPOD and he controls the music selections while my sis and I talk and catch up.

Thanks. I learned something new today. Doing more research this weekend.

First I have to find out how to use the bluetooth for my phone :blink:

Thanks Jawi :D I will have to really look into it now...I am so tired of CD's.

You definitely should. I can even listen with bluetooth stereo headsets on the plane...so I listen to my movies on my laptop or my IPOD when I'm flying. LOVE it.

Regarding the question about the cruises, I am a travel agent so I generally go on about 2 cruises a year. I love cruises, I have the best time on them. It gives me an opportunity to vist places, that I din't know much about. If I like what I see from a cruise then i can go back for a week vacation. I have done shopping cruises to many of the carribbean islands, i'e jewelry, pearls, gold, diamonds, handbags, perfume, etc.

kashi has a MP3 player..not an IPOD...got for him for xmas last year..it's 4G's..Jaws maybe u can help him wid him songs..mi no ave time fi dat..matter of fact mi no know how :unsure:

Yaads, I love my IPod - I have a 6 CD changer in my car, but I rarely play it - My IPod holds so many more tunes, and I can make mixes on it that last our entire road trip when my friends and I travel -

Yep! I have a mix for my mom when she rides with me. I had a 10 CD changer in my Camry but it skips and drags burned CDs...so I started using my cell phone and an FM transmitter...then when I filled up the memory card with songs, I upgraded to IPOD 80 GB Video. I now drive a 2006 Sonata and changed the factory radio out for my Sony with bluetooth. I am thinking of one more upgrade to a DVD player/stereo with bluetooth.

The FM transmitter is okay until you move out of range...then it becomes a hassle trying to find another station to play the IPOD.

KK..we do turkey but nothing like the traditional...we don't do cranberry sauce or the stuffing..we do curry goat, fish, chicken, oxtails..and such..no yams unless someone brings them..

I know...I have the equipment and no idea how to use it.

My daughter gets so frustrated with me :whistle: I have to ask her every week to update my IPOD.

:yes::yes: I just leave the downloaded songs in my Shared folder on the C drive. Then, from ITunes, I download "Folder" and select the Shared folder. When they are all in ITunes, I move the songs to a different folder on the C drive so I don't have duplicates on my IPOD.

I have 4000+ songs on my IPOD.

:o And to think I don't even have an IPOD. I am so behind the times :blush:

So does everyone use the Apple IPOD or do you recommend another brand/mp3 player?

I'm an iPod fan.
