some cars just won't play a bootleg/copy/burned CD..my toyota 2003 plays most every once in a while it kicks back the CD..my cousins Honda Accord..would NEVER play a burned disc...hated riding with..she never hasany CD's (that I wanna listen to)

My car is actually old enough to have a tape deck. I bought a converter type thing that runs through the tape deck but I plug it into my Ipod and just play my music from there. Don't mess with the CD's anymore.

No tape deck for me...but my car stereo has Bluetooth so I bought a bluetooth adaptor for my IPOD, so no more CDs for me. I also download all the music I can handle from MP3 Rocket. I paid $25 for membership with unlimited downloads. LOVE IT!!!

Jawi - what kind of car do you have? I have a bluetooth and have no ideal how to use it. I thought it was for the phone

Happy Birthday Roxie (F)

Happy BDAY Roxie :star: .....

Good mornin everyone...Please pray for my SIL her visitor visa  interview is today but shes feeling stress and upset. She mashed up the family car yesterday. It can be fixed but its not driveable and they need it and along with that she hit the wheel of a van and has to somehow get that fixed. Please send up a prayer for her. I hope all this does not interfere with her focusing on her interview at 9:30 today.

Jawi - you can download from there onto your Ipod? I'm sick of paying for itunes!!

:yes: I just leave the downloaded songs in my Shared folder on the C drive. Then, from ITunes, I download "Folder" and select the Shared folder. When they are all in ITunes, I move the songs to a different folder on the C drive so I don't have duplicates on my IPOD.

I have 4000+ songs on my IPOD.

Do they have a good reggae selection, Jawi? I have burned CDs to my IPod - I looked at the site you use and it looks interesting, but doesn't let you browse before you pay!

:o And to think I don't even have an IPOD. I am so behind the times

So does everyone use the Apple IPOD or do you recommend another brand/mp3 player?

There's a bluetooth thingy built in my steering wheel

My car has the IPOD hookup....just needed a cable from the socket to my IPOD.

Thanks Sus

The only reason I haven't gotten an MP3 player of some sort is the lighter thing in my car doesn't work and all the transmitters to play your IPOD in the car require you to plug it in...since my plug doesn't work I couldn't use it in the car...and that would defeat the point. Anyone know if there is transmitters that you don't have to plug in?
