We just found out she has an invalid passport.No-fee passport are godd for only military members and dependants, which she isn't anymore, cause my husband seperated from Air Fors in September. Nobody told us until yesturday, when we're getting our SOFA stamps. Will they let her in the USA?

I appreciate any help

3/11/2011-after emailing Faifax Office: biometrics scheduled for 1 Apr, 2011 and interview date 6 Apr 2011

not sure. let alone USA, will she be able to board the plane without the passport? thats the question you should also be asking...good luck and hope all works out for u.

This may not help, but I was travelling from the US back to Canada with an expired passport and since I am a CDN citizen, I was able to enter back into the country. I would suggest you be there a few hours before.

The thing is that the passport looks ok, good for another 4 years. Only on the last but one page it says that is valid only for active duty military members and their dependants. The passport no starts with 6, which also indicates the type of passport. I was travelling with her (on that passport) to Poland and nobody noticed. They checked only while boarding. I didn't know also at that time, that it was invalid.

The guy that issued our sofa stamps said it was ok for travelling, but we should turn it back as soon as we come back. Here's the hope....

Does anybody know anything about a case like this...?
