I can't imagine what you are going through! When I read your post tears came to my eyes and its hard to even see the keyboard (through my tears). My prayers will go out to you and the families involved (your family and her family). I wish you the best! (F)

I had finally finished the K1 Packet to submit for my fiancee. She was living in El Salvador, most of her family here in Los Angeles. We planned our lives together: marriage, a family (three little girls and a couple puppies we wanted), a house, everything together. Before I sent the packet, she had a really bad migraine. The migraine became worse, and the infection took over her whole nervous system. I flew down immediately, and the day I flew down, they admitted her to the hospital. For 18 days, I stayed day and night with her. Telling her much I love her, how much I need her, and of all the beautiful things we were going to experience together in life. Then, two days... her heart stopped. And now my babygirl will always be with me. Te amo Wendy, por siempre!

I'm sorry you are going through this. You gave it your all and were by her side when she needed you most, you are a great person and you did the right thing. I pray for healing and peace in your life.

Not to be intrusive, but what was it? What took her life? A virus a tumor?

My heart goes out to all who's loved ones have died,..I suggest you find someone you feel safe with be it a support group, concelor or friend and share how you feel and by all means,do not stop the tears.Do not stuff those feelings becasue when you bury it,you bury it alive.. (F)

I am very very sorry for your loss.

I feel your pain. My heart goes out to you.

Allow yourself time to heal. It will take some time and you will experience a mixture of emotions..the roller-coaster ride of emotions..the anger, denial, depression, sadness. Some days you will feel fine and think that you are doing well but the next minute, the sadness just seeps in and you will feel like you are back to stage 1 again. Grief has different stages and you just have to deal with them. Stay strong. Express your emotions. Talk to a trusted friend, a counselor or just anyone who will be there to listen to you. Write your thoughts. It will help a lot. Just let out what you feel.

Dont look on the future, but take each day one day at a time and if it really becomes so difficult, break it down to hours and minutes. Just stay focus on the present. It will be very hard to survive each day without that one person you love. But hang on and keep your faith.

I wish you peace and healing and enough strength for each day.
