I think you mean NOA1 and NOA2. NOA = Notice of Action. It is the form that says I-797C at the top. NOA1 tells you that they have received your petition. NOA2 means they have approved your petition. From there it will go on to NVC and them the consulate.

For AOS, I think they want the original NOA2.

You will need to include a copy of NOA2 during K-1 when you apply for AOS.
