H1B canceled :( ...

Dear friends,

I need some help here.

I was here in US for the past 10 years now.. and I got my MA degree and all that, and then I ended up with a bunch of low life people/ consulting company and they offered H1B .. knowing the fact that it would be a great opportunity I joined and I even found a job.. however they told me they are NOT going to pay for me several weeks/months even and then they will start paying. I had to of course travel to a different state to work on contract bases...

Of course this was a contract that could end in a couple of months. Before that they had threatened me that they will cancel, .. so I said if I am working you should start paying me right upfront... however they disagreed.. for personal and financial reasons.. (because I had to rend a house, a car and all that and the consulting company was not willing to pay but instead work for them) I had to leave that job and I informed the consulting company about that... and asked them to find me a job where I originally live because I was living with family and it would have been definitely more affordable.

in any case, they went ahead and before even telling me canceled my H1B.. I had other jobs that would have transfered it to but as I said they were just low life people...

Now I am trying to get back to school and apply for change of status from H1B to F1... I have another case in the background that goes on and that is I30 for unmarried son over 21 ... through my parents I applied on 2006 with priority dates of 2005...

My questions are:

1. What are my chances of getting back the F1 Visa?

2. Is there any other way I could stay in US until my case is approved family based?

Please help..

Once everything is cleared with me, I will declare the name address and all the "corruption" behind these consulting companies.. that offer H1b and then try to treat people like *slaves* once and for all so NO-ONE else be fooled around with.
