when you logging to your USCIS account and under updates you see the days changed from before so that`s a touch

Service Center: Vermont Service Center

Consulate : Egypt

Marriage : 2008-03-03

I-130 Sent : 2008-05-29

I-130 NOA1 : 2008-06-06

TOUCHED : 2008-31-12

I-130 Approved : 2009-1-1

And to add to the answer. A touch means the file moved. For example it moved from one cabinet to another. So touches do not always mean much. We got a touch on our I130 after the NOA 1 which was the next day. Maybe the file was put back. Then we got another the day after we got the NOA for the I129F. Probably both files were brought together. I have a service request for both the I130 and 129F. The service request is suppose to be processed later this month. Probably another touch. None of these got me closer to being approved.

So, we need to make an account in USCIS? Thank you

Use your USCIS case receipt number and go to USCIS page to create the account. After that, you can log in & check your status. When the date shown activities for you case changes, it means 'touched', a very high chance that your case is reviewed or processed or at least sign of hope.
