How long until I receive packet IV from Montreal??

We went to the Toronto embassy to have our I 130 formally submitted and it was approved. They said it would be mailed to Montreal on Wed (12 Nov)

When should I expect to receive anything from Montreal? Anyone know?? I am so anxious for this to be done as we are scheduled to move to Utah in April...

Hi Reeena, wow that is exciting that it's underway.

Sorry, I have no idea how long it takes when DCFing as we didn't have that option when we filed, I know Len did DCF, perhaps you could pm her.

It just came in the mail today, so we are working on the checklist.

If I understand correctly on the checklist for step one we are suppose to immediately return the attached Form DS-230 completed, and then for step two we complete the checklist then we mail that to them and they will give us an interview date when its our turn??
