What a happy KML!!!! I am so happy for you.

I have got the 2 year old grand daughter, Annalee, this weekend.

so i will be busy. I am just praying Hachemi gets his packet 3 soon.

I have asked to call or send an email to the embassy but he refuses. So hope they have not forgotten

to send it or we will be waiting for months, because he does not want to have their attention on him

Sure is sad to me when I see people approved after us already getting interview dates.

So I guess we will wait and wait and wait.

If you don't mind me asking, why don't you go ahead and call the Consulate? I mean after all-it's YOUR petition ( as the USC)....Maybe I do not understand the way the Consulate operates over there ( sorry) but why would it draw attention to him, it's a perfectly normal thing to do , to find out what's going on.

It would drive me nuts with impatience if I were you too-I remember when you got your NOA2 and it does seem ages ago.....

I know the impatience is driving me nuts....we haven't even got our NOA2 yet.

My hubby advised the same thing as Hachemi - he didnt want attention drawn to him. I explained that my calling the FBI, DOS and consulate was acceptable and there would be no backlash. In Egypt, this is just not done. You don't question the government at all like you do here. Just speculation - this may be a little of how Hachemi sees the situation.

I am not going to suggest Meriem call the consul against Hachemi's wishes. I hope it passes quickly!

my husband ask me to not e mail the embassy and call the DOS all the time. he also ask me to stop writing the VP. but, then in the same breath he sayes. " shonnie any good news yet "

when I have him e mail the embassy he is cool with that too. let me tell you he hates calling the embassy.

Maybe so, but from Shonnie's posting above she's not seeing it either. Different perceptions I guess, I dont' see anywhere that Meriem singled you out as not being happy for you, nor do I see where her or Hachemi will call the consul on Monday. Sorry just don't see it. as for Saturday - its darn hot here - im going to try to find a new vanity online for my bathroom remodel!

Happy Saturday all! I've been running around to garage sales all day and have found quite a few bargins!

Waiting to hear back from the freaking embassy.....hopefully they will email me tomorrow. This waiting is for the birds!
