If a scheduling conflict - most offices will accept walk-ins if you can go earlier (as long as you have your appointment letter).

Thanks, My apointment is on december 2nd, i wont be able to make it that day. Do i send the reschuling request back to USCIS in vermont or to my local uscis in boston. Would an infopass help? The earliest they can do an infopass is the 24th but that is cutting it a bit tight with my biomatrics schduled for a week later. Does anyone know if they accept walkins in boston as i could easily pop in during my luch hoour or before i start work as the office is only a 5 minute walk from my office?

In my biometrics letter there us an area to check the box to reschedule" upon receipt of your request you will be provided with a new apointment notice. Make of a copy of this notice for your records, then mail the original to my local service centre located in boston.

Then underneath that it also says mail a copy to the service center where you filed your i-751, peteition to remove conditions on residence,

So from the above where do i send the request, the local service center here in boston or the vermont uscis. There seems to be conflicting views on other forums that i have research on here so now i am confused. Please help.

Hi!

I have the same problem - finally got my biometrics appointment in the mail yesterday.

But not able to make it that day because will be visiting my family.

So it says on there to mail the original to your local office and a copy of that to the Service Center where you filed.

I will do that but before make a copy for myself.

So you would send the original letter with checked box to reschedule to your local office and a COPY of that to Vermont.

Also I will attach a note with the time I am out of the country so they won't schedule the next one while we are out of the country.

After that I will just wait for the new appointment.

Hope that helps!

I checked with the local office here and they said if I can't make this appointment to come in anytime after the appointment on any Wed. (they have walk ins that day). Well great but now my question: Would I still send in the letter with note to reschedule my appointment (it says on there if I miss the appointment my application might get abandoned)?

So still send in the request and walk in a week after my original appointment? I would hate to just miss it and not let them know....

Any advice?
