My issue was with someone who sold me something "authentic"....stood by his word that it was authentic even as I argued it wasn't. After I followed all channels to get a refund, in the end, I am banned from PayPal until I pay back the amount my credit card, who did stand by their word, refunded to me. It has been 5 years. PayPal still has the nerve to send me e-mails from time to time demanding the money.

So, no, I don't trust PayPal one bit. They are liars.

I don't want to sound rude here, but how is this really Paypal's fault? Sure, they should realize that they no longer need money from you. However, if someone sells you a bad item, that's the fault of the individual seller or store. Paypal is merely a method in which to pay.

I used PayPay, alot. So far it works for me. When I buy something, and the something doesn't get delivered I escalate the claim. And within days I would get my refund.

I agree, you are not selling through Paypal itself

. I used to get a lot of potential scams when I sold my old mobile phones on eBay. You just ignore them.
