Hello VJ FAmily,

I have seen where several other areas have successfully had a get together. I created this thread for conversation amongst members in the New England area. I would love to plan a meet and greet sometime after the Holidays.

Can we get people to post your location so we can get a grasp of how many people are in our area! Sort of a roll call. I was thinking that Mass would be a great middle ground to plan the get together.

May your visa journey be expidited and smooth!

Hopefully my husband will be here to come. I figured he should be in January.

I live in Maine. Traveling to MA is nothing but a thing for me.

Boston would be most convenient for us - we are about 20 min north. NH, RI, or CT would be ok too. Hope I could convince hubby to come!

Sounds like you are up to assisting in planning Jenn! Since you live in the area we could have it????

Might be easier if we stay on the out scurts of Mass just to save on money if people want to get a hotel.

Most of the tops universities are in Boston. We can probably meet in Harvard Square, or MIT QUAD, or whatever. Oh, I really know a good place around town. That is QUINCY MARKET! We can dive into different cultural food. Right behind the gov't center.

Other meet up threads from other areas of the country seem to get so much more response than NE ones.

I guess what they say about unfriendly Northerners is true.

CHALLENGE!

HEHE alls I know is us northern girls know how to keep our boyfriends warm at night ;)
