Hello my vj family,

When is the best time for my fiance to send to me the notarized affidavit of support or I-134 including his paystub, certificate of employment, bank statement, tax return and his W2? Is it safe that he will just send to me the documents after he received the NOA2? Or I should ask him to send them now while we are still waiting for our approval?

God bless to all.

Thanks.

Ange

I would wait till you had a Interview Date at USEM.

Have them sent via a express carrier - DHL / LBC / Fed Ex / Etc.....

Thanks for your reply.

Does my fiance need to send me original copies? or photocopies of the documents will do?

Both. Some you have to submit the originals, others you will hand over photocopies, but they often require to see the orignials.

How will I know which among the documents should be original copy?

In my case, only the Affidavit of Support is in original form. The tax returns, pay stubs and all, I am not so sure if they are original or photocopies. But USEM accepted them anyway. Hope this helps.

I submitted in original the form I-134 and the Certificate of Employment. The Income Tax Return and W2 were just photocopies. I had with me then recent and original copies of payslips but they didn't ask for it anymore.Good luck (F)
