:innocent: Hello everyone...I have got married last year March...Since then waiting for my immigration....The system says my File was opened in June 16,2008 at VSC though as of my NOA1 it says it was filed in June 16, 2007..Probabely I am the only one in this forum that waiting for my visa to be approved. However, I've started counting my days from this year june. I could locate one touch in my I-130 in October 9, 2008. Don't know what is going to happen...Please God!!! Help me out with it....

Anyways, I would request all June-July 2008 CR1/IR1 Filers to join here and share the experiences to lessen the pain......

Thanking you

Hello Everyone,

This is my first time posting anything on this site. I read it all the time though.

I got married in Costa Rica Nov 30, 2007. It took 5 months for me to get the Marriage License sent to me here in the US to start the paperwork. Anyway, our I-130 was received June 23rd and the I-129F was received July 29th. The I-130 was touched on Oct 1, 2008 but I haven't heard anything since then. I am hoping they process faster than the 6 months they state on the USCIS site. I was told by my attorney that it is a good sign that they haven't come back and asked for any additional information. Still we wait.

My husband is in Costa Rica and is getting so frustrated. :( I will be flying back to Costa Rica for the eighth time since we were married. his birthday is the Nov 28th and our first anniversary is Nov 30th. I was hoping to get an approval so I could have something good to tell him for his birthday. I leave on the 25th. :D
