Online "touched" date didn't change, but message did

I was just online checking our case status, becaue I thought maybe they would have changed with our visit to the Dallas office for interim EAD today. On all of the 3 petitions, it still says your petition was recieved on Feb 15, 2006, but no longer says "it is taking between xx and xxx days to process this kind of case" now it just says "you will be notified when processing is complete" I'm not sure when this changed because I haven't entered the files in awhile, I only looked at the dates, saw that they never changed and that was that. Does this maybe mean approval is coming or could it mean RFE's. After 109 days I would think that they would decide if they had all the information to their liking, although I did read a post where a february applicant was RFE'd for 2005 taxes.

Same here. For the Change of Address it first said that it will take between 30 and 60 days and now it only says that I can either check with the timelines for processing or wait until a decision has been made. Dont worry, seems like they only changed the message.

This happened just recently, I usualy go into our files every few days.

I am pretty sure it's just a generic across the board change to their forms. This way you don't get to say "my 90 days is up". You have to wait until their processing dates passes your NOA date.

It's just giving them more time to get to your cases without you having a leg to stand on.

However, for most of us we DO have our NOA's that clearly state a printed timeframe. And since the paper superceedes the online status, use THAT to your advantage.

Well our AP case has not been touched since Feb 16 when it was entered, and we did an inquiry on May 8 when the dates changed to "processing March 15" applications, and we still have heard nothing. We are about to write the inquiry to the congressman here and hope that will help.

Mine too, the number of days have gone. I've realised there's liitle point looking at the processing dates as well. My I360 receipt dat was Nov 3rd. Its says they are now processing Feb 2006 dates. I know they haven't lost it as I just received another prima facie determination from them. God knows what's going on.

My time window was removed as well... seemed to coincide quickly after the reassignment from Nebraska to California.

My guess is that they no longer want to be held to a time 'window'....
