Biometrics on November 28th?

I finally received my biometrics appoointment, but the odd thing is that it's scheduled for the day after Thanksgiving. I'm surprised that a government office is working. Anyone else get their appt. for the 28th? I'm going to call the USCIS office tomorrow to confirm.

So much for going out of town. Good luck to everyone else for a speedy approval!

Friday (day after Thanksgiving) is not a Holiday; government offices, USPS, Banks...all open. :thumbs:

yea i know it's weird,but it's a working day so you should be fine, my Biometrics appointment is on the 26th which is the day before thanksgiving :-)

10/13/08 Received Denial Letter

Preparing to refile

10/21/08 Delivered at CSC

10/22/08 checks cashed

11/01/08 NOA Received Date

11/18/08 Received the Biometrics appointment letter. Appointment on 11/26/08 at 11:00 am in San francisco:-)

11/26/08 Biometrics Done

11/27/08 Touched

02/04/09 Approved Card production ordered YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

02/16/09 Received Card in the mail, soooooooo happy Expires 2019.

N-400 Naturalization journey!!!!!

12/03/2010 Sent package to Phoenix, AZ

12/04/2010 Package delivered

12/07/2010 Check has been cashed

12/11/2010 NOA 1 Received

12/27/2010 Received the Biometrics appointment letter. Appointment on 01/06/2011

01/06/2011 Biometrics Done

01/28/2011 Received the interview letter, Scheduled for 02/15/11 at San Francisco, CA

02/15/2011 Passed the Citizenship Interview, Thanks god

03/09/2011 I received my Oath letter scheduled for 03/23/2011 in Oakland, CA

03/23/2011 Finally became a US Citizen, it was a great Experience for the Oath Ceremony in Paramount Theatre.

03/24/2011 I applied for the Passport at San Francisco Passport Agency

03/25/2011 I received the Passport, FINALLY US Citizen, thanks god :-)

yup yup yup we to have our bio-metrics the day after thanksgiving in Atlanta

Here we go again !

Lifting conditions

Oct 14th 08 ..... Mailed the I-751. Back in the system we go

Oct 18th 08 ..... NOA receipt date

Oct 20th 08 ..... Check has been cashed, waiting on the NOA1 and Biometrics appointment now.

Oct 24th 08 ..... NOA arrives in post.

Nov 13th 08 ..... Receive date for Bio-metrics in Atlanta.

Nov 28th 08 ..... Bio-metrics appointment.

Feb 18th 09 ..... Date of decision to remove conditions on permanent residency.

Feb 23rd 09 ..... Received notification on approval ( via snail mail ). Green card on order.

Feb 26th 09 ..... Card production ordered. Pleas wait 30 days ( as per case status on USCIS home page ).

Mar 7th 09 ....... My 10 yr green card arrives.

Apr 22nd 09 ..... Sons 10 yr green card finally arrives( after a nudge at VSC from the USCIS helpline)

Going to take a little break from the immigration stuff.
