Hello VJ,

I need info about getting nbi clearance in manila philippines. What are the requirements? How long do i need to wait to get that clearance? How much time do i need to spend at NBI office? I need that for visa. Please advice. Thank you

hi.

you need your old nbi clearance (if any) and an identification card and application fee (cant remember how much exactly, but i think something like 120)

waiting time varies, anywhere between one and three weeks (depending on whether you're hit, meaning, you're unfortunate enough to have the same name with someone who has a record).

how much time you will spend filing your application will also depend on a host of factors, including: the day and time you will go to their office, human traffic and their lunch/merienda break. unfortunately, the queue seems to be almost always long. bring a fan, water and a hankie! he he he

Hi,if you have been issued before a nbi clearance for travel abroad,you can just go to the malls or to any place where you could renew it and get it in a few minutes.but if this is just the first time that you'll be applying for a clearance,you need to go to nbi office and apply.there's no requirement to be sumbitted,just follow the steps in applying for NBI CLEARANCE.

They dont work during saturdays and sundays but u might try browsing their website and check their FAQs,you might have others questions that'll be answered on that page.
