Do you guys trust paypal? If someone asked for your paypal account to send you money would you give it to them?

I've never had a problem w/ it either - both sending & receiving. I've used it for both business & personal matters. I've also found PP's customer service to be of the highest quality. I've even spoken to them on the phone concerning a matter related to my ex-husband trying to use my account. They were ever so helpful.

I have some concerns about paypal. It seems ppl keep fishing for my paypal account number. I have an item for sale online and only ppl from the UK, Canada, and Africa are looking to purchase it and send me the money through paypal. So it makes me wonder if they are scammers....

Maybe I'll post about this in off topic.

Now, I do often get phishing scams from people posing to be from paypal (update your acct info, etc) but I know how to tell a phishing scam from the real thing and have never fallen for it. I do always report them though. Perhaps this is an issue for you?

Yeah I remember I placed an ad for a phone on craigslist and some guy from Nigeria wanted to buy it.

Yeah right. LOL

Same with us...LOL :P Always overseas...we have had Nigeria, Poland, India and most recently (on Craigslist) she claimed she was local but on business in another state. Our response: CASH ONLY in PERSON...No Cashy, No Product..move on! :P
