Cookbook is almost ready

Ok girls and guys. It's time to let me know 100% if ur in or out.

I think the price of the book is gonna have to go up to about 27 dollars because it has gone up to almost 220 pages and it looks like we will be ordering under 50 so the price for printing is slightly higher than if we would have had 100 orders. Paypal also charges us 2 or 3 dollars per 20 that is sent so I have to cover that as well. (unless u all want to send money orders thru the mail..that would work too.) Because the order is over 1000 dollars, I'll have to get the payments BEFORE I send off for printing or I'll never be able to afford it lol (yes, I'm poor). Paypal is almost ready so I just got to have hubby tell me how to use it (if that is the way you all want to go with it). If you want an address to send a money order to, pm me and I'll get it to you asap!

Let's get this thang organized and DONE so we can get these books out before Christmas!

Amal...I don't care either way. Just let me know. I have never used pay pal so you will probably have to guide me through it. Otherwise, a money order is fine for me as well.

lmao! Jax u crax me up! There are a few recipes in which they tell how to prepare the rice. hehe

By the way everybody. I'm totally not a professional so this book is as basic as they come.

I have had a few questions about pictures of the dishes being incorporated.... So far, I have not included pictures BECAUSE each picture takes up 1 more page and the book is 224 pages long thus far. I would be happy to add pictures to each recipe BUT keep in mind that it will jack up the price to almost double what it is now coz that will be at least 150 or more MORE pages than there are now.

That means that instead of 27 dollars for just recipes, it would be somewhere along the lines of 50 dollars(ish) to add the pictures.

It would probably take me an extra week to locate pictures of all of the dishes as well so incorporate that into the timeline and there would be NO CHANCE of them being done and sent out by christmas. Right now its a race against the clock to get them done in time. I'm starting to feel a bit stressed coz if I don't get them ready this week, they may not make it in time .... I could take more time to perfect them and then they could be given for gifts next year....whadda ya all think?

Maybe you could only add pictures for SOME dishes. Not all of them. Just a handful. Then we get the best of both worlds.

I thought about that but then didn't want to hurt anybodies feelings by not posting theirs when others' are shown...I want it to be good for everyone, ya know...i'm torn...

we cherish our rice cooker. it makes rice easier, better, and faster than the regular way. Even hubby approves

I say forego the pics... I cannot pay ~$50 for a cookbook.

As for the rice cooker, I've found the only way it doesn't stick to the bottom is to first oil the bottom, then put the water & rice in. Then again, I mostly use brown jasmine rice for everything rice related. Maybe white rice doesn't do that.
