I have the following to submit as proof of marriage:

1. Tax Returns for 2006 and 2007

2. Joint Bank Account from 06

3. Car Insurance Statements

4. Health Insurance statements

5. Pictures from vacations and family outings(including a trip back to my husband's country in September).

How many statements should I include? Should I show different months or should I include everything from 2006?

Is this enough? Please let me know! I am so stressed!

That looks good, if you have any of these, they may also help:

Mortgage/Rent Agreement

Car Titles

Copies of ID's/DL's showing both parties at same address

Life Insurance policy showing partner as the beneficiary

Passport Stamps/Boarding Pass for any Trips outside US

That's all I can think of, least what we had in our packet that you didn't list for yours. That's not to say our packet is or could be 100% correct, just what we had. We just tried to cover as much as we could and we focused on anything starting on or just after I got my GC right up till the filing date.

We too threw in bank statements form the week after my GC was issued up till the month we sent in our I-751. We did some random pictures as well, car insurance bills, tv/internet bills, phone bills, city bills.. etc just about anything that had the wife's name or it or mine or both. All really just to show the obvious, that we live togeather, we're married and living happily every after!

As long as your packet has that in it, you'll be fine! I'm sure you'll get plenty more responces as well with yet more advice.

Good luck!

Hello fello Hungarian! :)

I would send in as much as possible. Send statements from the beginning of your marriage to the present. We had a Request for more evidence sent to us, even though we had sent what we had thought was everything. Some other ideas in addition to what aidan80 said:

- Copy of your marriage certificate

- Joint Credit Card Statements

- Copies of Utility bills

- Copy of lease agreement or home

- Copies of travel itineraries, boarding passes (if you have them)

- Letter/Affidavits from friends who have known you since you've been married or before

- Anything that would show one another as a beneficiary

- Copies of hotel and/or dinner receipts from any of trips the 2 of you may have taken

- Any copies of Anniversary, Holiday cards addressed to both of you

- We went as far as sending copies of emails we sent to each other

Hope this helps!

Good luck!

Ok the house is in my name as I bought it before we got married, same with my car lease, cable and electric.

But I got letters today from our car insurance and bank and have statements for our savings account health insurance records and tax returns. Also I have statments to add to the letters from our car insurance and bank. Also I have our airline tickets from our trip to Hungary in September.

Should I include pictures as well?
