What are the best way to do?

well, sad to say but we called NVC and they told that my hubby really needs to file his tax for 2007..

so he is sending me paperwork to fill up to get my ITIN so he can file his tax including me,married filing jointly..

but i read that it will take 4-6 weeks to process the ITIN, and thats the time he can file his tax and then after filing, thats the time he can send the AOS to NVC..

if all these happened, it will eat almost 2 months before my case be completed..

my question is, is there any other way we could do?any other options?

if i could get an interview even if he have not send the AOS yet?

or can he get a co-sponsor if he has no 2007 tax?

im so upset..

02/16/12 - mailed I-130

02/27/12 - NOA1 petition received(hubby's birthday!)

06/06/12 - NOA2 stating I-130 approved

06/29/12 - NVC received case

07/09/12 - case entered in the system,assigned MNL # and IIN,email add given

07/12/12 - beneficiary emailed DS-3032, auto response received

07/18/12 - AOS fee bill/paid "IN PROCESS"

07/20/12 - AOS fee bill shows "PAID", mailed AOS package

07/25/12 - received AOS

07/25/12 - IV Fee Bill Invoiced, paid $230.00 "IN PROCESS"

07/26/12 - IV Fee bill shows "PAID"

07/28/12 - mailed IV Package

08/03/12 - received DS 230 packet

08/14/12 - sent RFE

08/16/12 - NVC received RFE

08/21/12 - log in failed

08/22/12 - case complete!

09/26-27/12 - medical at SLMC

10/04/12 - interview

12/01/12 - Left Philippines

u may not get the number ever after all that we tried twice and never could get it so just go ahead and file married and seperate, why didnt he already do the filing? you wont get interview or complete until all these steps are done. Maybe there is reason he didnt file you need to cover to them

11/21/2008 CASE COMPLETE

01/16/2009 VISA IN HAND

01/31/2009 ARRIVED OKC

I'd file the W7 with 2007 joint return to IRS and send a copy of both to NVC,

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

i should have known this site even before we got approve so i have known all this procedures..but unlucky

You file the W7 at the same time you file your tax returns. IRS gives you the number later.

You file the W7 at the same time you file your tax returns. IRS gives you the number later.

oohhh so he can file w7 and tax at the same time?

coz he will be sending the form to me on monday and ill send it back to him..
