No I look for results. As an engineer we analyze a problem and then solve it. Whereas to the contrary, you seem to be the type who looks for some sort of social reason as the root cause. The "it's society's fault" type.

There is no excuse for this sort of behavior. Absolutely none. I may come across as angry but am simply disappointed in our failure to deal with this neanderthal behavior in the 21st century. Where are not vikings any more and this is not Congo.

I think the questioning is a bit odd... how many times would it take to be raped before self or spouse arms themself.

Indeed it is very simple. Rape down, murder down, paranoia down. There's something not very consistent with people who are paranoid, and paranoid people need not be making decisions that revolve around logic -- i.e. corrections.
