Dear all,

if your beneficiary is a male in 20s or 30s chances are he will b on AP 99% of the time.. there have been rare cases recently when they have not.. but no matter what issues u 've ....if male 99% will b put on AP for name check. I have been in this mess for a yr .. and i 've researched for past so manyyy months.. whatever visa a male tries to get from ISL if he is a male chances of AP r V V V high infact almost guranteed!

Secondly, missing docs is one story, we had no docs missing, interview was not even 5 mins.. but beneficary was a male, in 20s from T-26 country.

Two things that cause delays to my understanding r: what checks r requested and common terrorist names... this is where ur luck culd play a role. There are various checks, and it is upto CO to request whichever he determines r necessary. If u r lucky mayb will clearn @ MINIMUM (if on name check) in 6mons (this is for a male) that is if u r lucky=) otherwise if ur unfortunate like many of us the wait culd b v long desipite ur needs=) i think recently they have not been requesting checks that requires long time for clearance thus clearance if in for name check is getting done for few w/in 6mons period.. in past ONE yr i've only observed thta only a HANDFUL males (mayb 3/4) clearing in less than usual 6mons timeframe or no name check was requested. this is in past nearly a yr of observation! .. As i said another issue is common name=)

So all males , take a deep breath and wait patiently, nuthin' else u culd do... Also, DOS will tell u if u ask about name check.. they will not tell u what checks r compeleted or anythin' but u culd ask if name checks r requested for you. they at times will tell u (Depending on the person u r talkin' w/) if name checks r requested.

good lucks n duas to all,
